Newbattle

The parish of Newbattle, surrounded by the other mining parishes of Midlothian,  has a good collection of stones, some in good condition and some very old, though more weathered. The church it formerly belonged to was across the road, now the site of the new cemetery. Only a few stones have been catalogued here so far. The impressive wall memorials require further study and scanning.
